FAQ
Questions, answered
When does Motorpalz launch?
Very soon. Motorpalz is launching on iOS and Android, and this page will show the store links as soon as you can get the app.
Is Motorpalz free?
Downloading Motorpalz, browsing listings and contacting sellers is free. Sellers publish their listings with a listing package.
What vehicles can I find?
Cars and SUVs, buses, trucks and machinery, for sale or for rent, from individuals and businesses in your market and from verified exporters abroad.
Who can sell or rent out vehicles on Motorpalz?
Anyone with a Motorpalz account. Individuals can sell or rent out their own car, bus, truck or machinery without a business profile. Dealerships, rental companies and other businesses can create a business profile to manage their inventory and see how buyers respond. Exporters based outside Africa can list vehicles for sale once they are verified.
How do I contact a seller?
Open a listing or a seller's profile and call or message them on WhatsApp straight from the app. Business profiles with an address also offer directions.
Does Motorpalz handle payments?
No. Motorpalz connects buyers and sellers, and the price, payment and handover are agreed directly between you. Inspect the vehicle and check its papers before you pay anything.
How are businesses verified?
Our team reviews every business profile before it appears on Motorpalz. Businesses that also verify their documents earn the verified badge shown on their profile and listings.
What does the VIN check badge mean?
Car sellers can add the vehicle's 17-character VIN to their listing, and those listings show a VIN check badge. Compare that number with the one on the car and its papers before you buy.
Can I import a vehicle from abroad?
Yes. Verified exporters outside Africa list export-ready vehicles that ship to your market, so you can compare them alongside local listings in Motorpalz.
Which languages and currencies does Motorpalz support?
Motorpalz is available in English and French. Listings keep the seller's currency, and you can pick a display currency to see estimated prices converted into it.
What if a listing or seller looks suspicious?
Report the listing, the seller or the business from the app. Our team reviews every report and can remove listings or suspend accounts that break our rules.
